Reviews
He (Prof Brian Cox) will tell (he promised, standing on a rocky precipice as a low sunflared behind him) ‘stories of worlds born and worlds lost… their destinies more
entwined than we ever imagined.’ The effect is vastly heightened by the symphonic
soundtrack from composer Andrew Christie, a protege of Hollywood music giant Hans
Zimmer and who sounds as if he’d be right at home in the Marvel Cinematic
Universe.” - The Arts Desk
“Armed with an intense musical score, very reminiscent of the video game series
Mass Effect, The Planets does a good job keeping things feeling suitably epic and
intense throughout the episode.” - The Review Geek
“In Brian Cox’s new series high drama, a cinematic soundtrack and CGI combine to
make life on earth appear truly miraculous” - iNews
